Flexible Power Range: Handles motors up to 1 HP (115V) and 2 HP (230V) with an optional heatsink (P/N SC-9861) making it suitable for everything from light-duty to moderate industrial applications.

Precise Speed Control: Adjustable trimpots for Min/Max speed, IR compensation, current limit, and accel/decel provide smooth, consistent motor performance across varying loads.

Built-In Protection & Durability: Includes a patented overload circuit, MOV transient protection, and integrated AC line fuse, all housed in a rugged metal enclosure for long-term reliability.

Easy Installation & Operation: Compact design with terminal block wiring, dual voltage switch, and straightforward setup makes it ideal for quick installs and replacements.

The Forward-Brake-Reverse Switch (P/N SC-9860) is an optional feature. Includes switch and prewired dynamic brake resistor.

This product requires a resistor and fuse. Please include the HP and voltage of the motor that the drive will use with. This will be included with your drive.

Description

The Model KBMD-240D, also called Multi-Drive™, is rated for 1/100 to 2 horsepower and is an SCR drive housed in a NEMA 1 enclosure. It utilizes the KBMM speed control for its electronics. It handles both 115 and 208/230 Volt AC line inputs by setting the built-in Dual Voltage Switch. The single model can be used on a wide range of motor horsepower by inserting the appropriate Plug-In Horsepower Resistor, which is required to operate this drive. It includes an AC line fuse and an Armature fuse holder.
