FAG Bearings

FAG is renowned as the inventor of the groundbreaking ball grinding machine that is regarded as the foundation of the entire rolling bearing industry.

In Germany in 1883, Friedrich Fischer invented a mill that could produce complete spherical steel balls in large volumes. This innovation is the historical beginning of the roller bearing industry. By 1905, FAG became a registered trademark and was eventually acquired by Schaeffler in 2001. FAG bearings are the pioneer of rolling bearing technology and continue to work towards new advances in bearing technology.

Schaeffler is a German company that manufactures rolling element bearings for automotive, aerospace, and industrial applications. Their split spherical roller bearings have helped to reduce downtime and increase productivity.
