Description

Baldor offers an extensive line of General Purpose single phase enclosed motors. In applications where only single phase power is utilized, these motors are available from 1/12 HP through 15 HP in TEFC designs. Standard foot mounted configurations are available, as well as C-Face foot mounted and C-Face footless. These are also offered in 1/4 HP through 5 HP as Super-E® Premium Efficient motors where energy savings is desired.

    What is a General-Purpose AC Motor

    General Purpose AC motors refers to a broad category of every-day-use motors. Very similar to a car’s base model, these motors don’t have all the bells and whistles. You won’t find specialized shafts and bearings, specific mounting equipment, or over current and overload protections. Therefore, general purpose motors can be used for many purposes.
