With a totally enclosed construction and available in 230/460V, 460V, and 575V voltage options, this foot-mounted motor delivers consistent, reliable performance across a range of applications. Engineered with a rugged cast iron frame, the XT motor is built for long-lasting durability under harsh operating conditions. It supports ABB Ability™ smart sensor technology, providing real-time performance data for predictive maintenance and improved operational efficiency. A laser-marked nameplate ensures the motor's identification remains clear and legible over time, while multi-colored leads on frame sizes up to 320T simplify wiring and installation. Optimized for flexibility, the motor is designed to operate with variable frequency drives and complies with NEMA MG1 Part 31.4.4.2 standards. It is also certified for use in hazardous locations, carrying Division 2, Class I, Groups A, B, C, and D ratings. For enhanced protection and reliability, models from 143T to 256T are equipped with sealed bearings to minimize maintenance requirements. This motor is well-suited for a wide variety of industrial applications, including chemical processing plants and oil & gas facilities. It is a dependable choice for pulp & paper mills, forest product operations, and metal processing or foundry environments.
