The Baldor Explosion Proof Drill Rig Duty three-phase, foot-mounted motor is designed for demanding applications in hazardous environments. Built with robust steel and cast iron frame construction, it offers durability and resilience for long-term performance. The motor features a 1.15 service factor with Class F insulation, making it suitable for 40°C ambient temperatures, and it can operate in environments up to 55°C at a 1.0 service factor. Inverter duty rated, the motor includes DE shaft slingers and UL-approved breather drains for added protection. It is equipped with normally closed thermostats for thermal safety and a threaded lead inlet for secure wiring. With an IP55-rated enclosure, this motor is ideal for use in bulk fuel terminals, Division 1 hazardous areas, transfer stations, and on and offshore drill rig services, supporting both fixed and variable speed operations.Available for Delivery
