The Baldor Chiller/Cooling Tower motor is designed for severe-duty applications, featuring a corrosion-resistant epoxy finish and durable cast iron frame. Equipped with AEGIS® internal shaft grounding rings, it protects against bearing currents, extending motor life. With a 1.15 service factor and Class F insulation, this motor is suitable for inverter duty and meets NEMA MG1 Part 31.4.4.2 standards. It offers easy installation with multiple lifting provisions and a four-barrier shaft sealing system for optimal moisture removal. Foot-mounted for convenience and with an IP55 rating, this motor is perfect for HVAC systems, cooling towers, and chillers. After the rebrand, they are now known as ABB Motor and Mechanical (Canada) Inc, although new motor nameplates still indicate 'Baldor Reliance' in Canada.
