The Baldor Explosion Proof Severe Duty three-phase, foot-mounted motor is designed for reliable performance in the harshest environments. Constructed with all cast iron, it offers durability and strength, while its inverter duty rating ensures dependable operation. The motor features a 1.15 service factor with Class F insulation, suitable for 40°C ambient conditions, and can handle up to 55°C ambient temperatures at a 1.0 service factor. Equipped with Group E brass labyrinth shaft slingers, normally closed thermostats for thermal protection, and UL-approved breather drains, this motor provides added safety and performance. Its IP55 rating is available for frame sizes up to 320, with an IP66 rating for frame sizes 360 and larger. Ideal for use in Division 1 hazardous areas, this motor is perfect for applications in pulp and paper, wastewater, chemical, oil, and gas industries, and supports both fixed and variable speed operations.
