The Baldor Explosion Proof General Purpose three-phase, C-face foot-mounted motor is built for safe and reliable operation in hazardous locations. It features a robust steel and cast iron frame for long-lasting durability, along with IP54 ingress protection to guard against dust and moisture. This motor includes a 1.15 service factor on 143T frame sizes and larger, and is rated inverter duty for models 1 Hp and above. It also provides thermal protection with auto overload for motors under 1 Hp and normally closed thermostats for those 1 Hp and up. With a threaded lead inlet and low-noise, vibration-dampening base, it’s ideal for fixed-speed use in fans, pumps, conveyors, and Division 1 hazardous areas.
