The Baldor Explosion Proof Drill Rig Duty three-phase, C-face footless motor is designed to withstand the harsh conditions of hazardous environments. Built with a durable steel and cast iron frame, it offers long-lasting reliability. The motor features a 1.15 service factor with Class F insulation, making it suitable for 40°C ambient temperatures, and it can operate in environments up to 55°C at a 1.0 service factor. Inverter duty rated, it includes DE shaft slingers and UL-approved breather drains for enhanced protection against contaminants. Additionally, the motor is equipped with normally closed thermostats for thermal protection and a threaded lead inlet for secure wiring. With an IP55-rated enclosure, this motor is ideal for bulk fuel terminals, Division 1 hazardous areas, transfer stations, and onshore and offshore drill rig services, supporting both fixed and variable speed operations.
